2006 Château Benoit Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes:
This Pinot Noir is a blend from four different pinot noir vineyards in the Willamette Valley. While you might smell oak, cherry pie or raspberry on the nose, this wine also has notes of red fruits, plum and subtle oak in the mouth. The 2006 CB Pinot Noir ends with a nice dry finish and can be cellared for a few years but why wait!
Food Pairing Suggestions:
You can think of red meat with red wine but Pinot Noir is versatile enough to cross over to lamb and poultry. Try Pinot with salmon dishes and tomato based pasta dishes. Don’t forget Pinot pairs nicely with dark chocolate for dessert!
Price: $18.00 / 750 ml
